The Southeastern Rugby Club’s spring 2010 season is beginning, and we are inviting you to be a part of it. We currently have three teams playing the fastest growing team sport in America, and the number two sport in the world. The club has more than 100 players (Junior High Boys, High School Girls, High School Boys) a dedicated coaching staff, and a policy that everyone plays. This fast-paced, full-contact, non-stop game requires endurance and toughness like no other. The best part is that everyone has the chance to score.

With this year’s move to Division I, our travel will be increased, but so will our exposure in the rest of the state and throughout the Midwest. The Southeastern Rugby teams will play other teams in the local area, but some will also travel to Nashville, TN, Elkhart, IN and Columbus, IN to compete in tournaments with teams from all over the Midwest, including 60 Indiana teams.

As a club sport, we operate independent of school funding. To keep the player fees reasonable, the team needs to develop revenue through partnerships, donations and sponsorships. Our primary fundraising activity this year is a professional and stylish yearbook to commemorate the season. We are asking you to get behind our club and community while giving your business exposure in our yearbook. Your sponsorship of a non-profit may also have tax benefits for your company.

Sponsors at the top 4 tiers will receive a copy of the yearbook for their office or lobby. This will also increase the exposure of your sponsorship ad.

There are also opportunities for companies interested in taking a bigger role in sponsoring the team including equipment bag logos and game-day field presence. One of the unique events of a rugby match is the post match social for teammate and opponent alike, hosted by the home team. This can be a great opportunity to showcase your company’s products!
